Twenty-five Things About Me

Today is the last day of November and I've been blogging on SA for just over six months. So, I was thinking it might be time to share some things about me that most people do not know. I've read similar lists on Koppur's and baselle's blogs and found them interesting. So I've posted my list on my sidebar. I'd love to read your list if you are willing to share.

    Cool! Thanks. I never heard of a "swimming test required for my high school graduation", although personally I think it's a great idea, but maybe for kindergarten graduation. It's just one of those things that's so handy to know as a kid when you get invited to pool parties, to the beach, to lakes, to go tubing or canoing or whatever. It's better to know how earlier rather than later.

    lizajane - I'm not sure of the current requirements, but 40 years ago, in San Francisco, you had to pass a swimming test to graduate from a public high school. It included being able to tread water for 5 minutes in the deep end of the pool. And I agree, requiring it in kindergarten makes more sense.

    Someone started this as a topic in their blogs a year or so ago and a bunch of us followed suit with our own lists. You're right, they were VERY interesting.

    Very intersting, esp. about how you dream in Spanish. I always wondered what language bilingual people dreamt in. *smile*
